A Mission to Serve

As a Christian, I desire to use my talents and abilities to serve others. Shepherds College allows me to use those abilities to meet the needs of a very specific student demographic. I am so excited that I get to help Shepherds College fulfill the mission!

Satisfaction = Glorification

John Piper once said "God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him." I love this statement because it focuses on serving God and having a relationship with Him. It is based on the eternal love and joy He has given that motivates us to love God and love people. I find it important to inspire students and staff to be people marked by love, hope, and faith.

Transition to Adulthood

My goal for Shepherds College students is to be able to assist them transition into their own Appropriate Independence as a spiritually, emotionally, physically and socially healthy adult. It is evident to me that our students are what make Shepherds College so different from anywhere else, and these students are the ones making the dream of the college come true.
