Happy Camper

What brought me to Shepherds College? I volunteered as a camp counselor at Wisconsin Badger Camp for individuals with developmental disabilities. The energy at the camp was incredible, and all the campers were so full of joy. After that, I knew God was calling me to pursue a career in the disability field, which led me to Shepherds College.

Practical Practice

I believe in making my lessons applicable to the students' lives. For example, when talking about budgeting, we make a grocery list and practice finding the unit prices. I also enjoy teaching to different kinds of learners. Many of our students learn through touch, so I like to incorporate hands-on activities into my classes.

High Energy. Warm Heart.

I am a very energetic person, which helps me keep up with my students. The students tell me that I'm always smiling. This statement warms my heart and reaffirms that I was made this way for the exact purpose of teaching at Shepherds College.
