Seek and You Shall Find

Helping people is part of my nature. Since finding the best, most productive route to do things comes naturally to me, being at Shepherds College is a perfect fit. During schooling, I never imagined that I would be called to work with people who have intellectual disabilities. But I found myself in search of a life-changing ministry and welcomed the chance to help start Shepherds College. Building it into a quality program is truly my purpose. Skills from my teaching and ministry experiences have prepared me for my mission here.

Ambition with Purpose

Every day I get to see the students learn and realize their true capabilities, which in turn yield their true purpose in life. The growth I get to see is remarkable, and I love knowing that these students leave Shepherds College with the life skills they will need to fulfill their own ambitions.

Parental Review

As I interact with the parents of our students, I am encouraged about the mission and development of Shepherds College. Especially as parents come here and share with me their own stories of the positive impact that the college has had on their son or daughter's life.

Each day at Shepherds College is new, different and exciting. My favorite saying goes “You make a life out of what you give”, which rings so true for me here.
